Our New Adventure

Our most recent adventure actually began about a year and half ago.  An Idaho dairymen whom we have built for in the past bought an existing dairy on the Big Island of Hawaii. From the very beginning there was no question about it, improvements and updates were needed. When we headed to Maui in March of 2012, for a business rewards trip, we added a week on the Big Island to check things out.  So, a little over a year later, and about half a dozen trips from Boise to Hawaii, the dirt work began.  The adventure has included much more than sightseeing, although you wouldn't know it from my pictures.  We love the Big Island and the people there.  It has become our home away from home. Kelly has been amazingly tenacious in getting his Hawaii contractor's license and all the building permits. None of it has been easy or quick. Things are definitely different, in the world of construction, on an island. We have a business blog which concentrates completely on the job and construction, this one is my personal way of remembering the experience, those that visit us, and share that with those of you that are interested.  If you do visit us in Hawaii, you just might find yourself here!
