We started at Kaloko Pond. |
Then walked toward Honokohau Harbor. |
As we got closer to the harbor we started seeing turtles. |
Garth and his sunbathing friend. |
Denise, George and Garth. |
One of the things Garth was quite interested in seeing was the Captain Cook Memorial, we viewed it from across the bay. |
We then went to Pu'uhonua Honaunau (City of Refuge). |
Love this picture of Garth and his "crabby" friend. |
The rock walls are amazing...even the small rocks are as tight as can be. |
Me and my sis and bro-in-law. |
A few days later we headed back to Honaunau to snorkel, on the way we stopped and took pictures of the Poinsettias. They are amazing over here and they are just blooming their hearts out in time for the holidays.
We stopped at Kua Bay for the sunset on our way home. |
Then a couple days later we walked down to "A" Bay for the sunset. |
