I found a few photos that were taken during the last year, but misplaced. I want them on the blog....so here they are.
This was last winter...the first time we saw wild turkeys here.

On one of our trips down to Kealakekua Bay, (Captain Cook's Monument) we spotted these eagle rays out in the deeper water....the water was a little cloudy....but they were magnificent!!!

They were probably 6-8 foot long front tip through tail. |

There were three of them and they just swooped through and then went on their way. |
