All our friends from Hilo, Kona and Waimea, plus a few visitors....I am behind the
camera and Auntie Vi and Tutu were already in the car. |

I ran and snapped a picture of Auntie Vi....a very special lady. |

Kealakekua Bay
Stephanie had been here for about a month, staying with her Dad, so we decided that we should hike down to Kealakekua Bay with her before she headed home to Montana. Her boyfriend Dean was visiting from Canada and Justin and Colter Fair joined us, too. We have never taken off so late in the day before, but we had a great hike and fun snorkeling before we hoofed it up to the top.

Stephanie in her "boots".....she had a choice of flip flops or boots.....it worked. |

Captain Cook's Monument
We were the only ones snorkeling....so the monument area was vacant. |
|
Heading up the hill after snorkeling. |
|
Watching the sunset....while hoping it wouldn't get too dark, too fast. |
|
The kids halfway up at sunset....we made it to the car without flashlights. |
